National Institute of Biological Resources

National Institute Biological Resources(NIBR) builds efficient systems for conservation and management of national biological resources, supports Korean biotechnology industries, and raise public awareness on the values of biological resources through exhibition, education and training project.
NIBR's Exhibition Hall is the only place in Korea that exclusively displays Korea's native species in order to raise public awareness on the importance and value of biological resources and biodiversity, and showcases the biological resources of the Korean Peninsula(6,000 specimens of 1,500 species) and how they are utilized.
