National Museum of San Carlos
San Carlos National Museum - one of the most important attractions of Mexico City. The museum is housed in a neoclassical mansion of the beginning of XIX century. In the premises of seven galleries of the museum is the largest in Mexico City, a collection of works by famous painters of Europe. The museum's collection - a picture painted from the XIV to the XX century Flemish artists, France, Italy and Spain. It found its place etchings by Goya and Rodin sculptures. The pearl of the collection is recognized zaaltarnoe decoration La Encarnaci n 1465, which is covered with gold leaf. It is placed at the entrance to the building.
