Rail Transport Museum
The Railway Museum in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, presents exhibits on the history of rail transport in India. The museum was inaugurated on February 1, 1977 and covers an area of over 40 hectares (40,000 m 2). This unique museum has a fascinating and exotic collection of over 100 exhibits of real-life Indian Railways. In addition to its huge galleries, the museum offers simulations of buses, diesel, electric and steam engines.
