The Museum of Shipbuilding and Fleet
The museum is located in the twelve halls and has about three thousand exhibits. Exhibits of the first hall takes us to the era of ancient Greece and in the days of Kievan Rus, talk about the beginning of navigation on the Dnieper and the Bug, Black and Mediterranean seas. A significant part of the exhibition reveals the activity of the Nikolaev shipbuilding companies, starting with the first, the Ingul shipyards, laid down in 1788, by which appeared on the map of Europe ship Mykolaiv city, named in honor of St. Nicholas, patron saint of sailors.
