Million-year-old shell fossils
This museum features shell fossils from the Jurassic era, dating back to 140-150 million years ago. A number of bivalve fossils in good condition are on display. These fossils are found in 50-meter-high cliffs on nearby mountains. In addition, nearby, 60 dinosaur fossils were found in layers of siltstone, above layers where fossils of shells and ancient crocodiles were found.
