The Museum of Norilsk

Museum funds contain unique collections of materials by N.N. Urvantsev on the history of the development of the North and the discovery of Norilsk, the foundation of the history of the Norilsk People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (personal belongings and household items of the prisoners), the mineralogical collection of rare and unique finds on the territory of Taimyr, the ethnographic collection of artifacts of indigenous people of Taimyr. The museum collection includes numismatics, archeology, paleontology, etc.
