The Novy Urengoy City Museum of Fine Arts
The basis of the collection consists of graphics and paintings, donated by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Committee on Culture of the Tumen Region in 1983-1986 - works of Soviet artists of the 1970s. Works are devoted to the great Soviet construction projects, including construction of gas pipelines in the north of Siberia. Most of the collection of graphics and paintings consists of works of Tyumen artists. The Decorative and Applied Fund is represented by a unique collection of objects from the Yamal bone carving school, small sculpture, as well as a collection of A. Marz's sculptural works.
