The museum has rich funds and materials that reflect the history of the town Okhansk and the district. The complex museum includes: the Museum "Starina Okhanskaya", the museum dedicated to the History of an orphan homes of Okhansk, the Museum of Oshchepkov P.K. and an art gallery named after the honored artist P. Shardakov.
