Osh Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Sulayman Mountain» Museum Sulaiman Too
The Osh Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve is located in the city of Osh, in the east of the Fergana Valley, and at an altitude of more than 1000 meters above sea level. Osh United Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, is the main attraction of the city. From here, from the height of the Suleiman-Too mountain, sacred for the Kirghiz, a panorama of the whole city opens up. In the repositories on the territory of the reserve there are many different rare exhibits, the materials of the local history museum are stored, rock paintings and inscriptions are presented. The reserve includes Sulaiman-Too mountain, Ak-Bura fortress (I-XII centuries), and such architectural monuments as the mausoleum of Asaf-ibn-Burkhiya (XI-XVII centuries), the mosque Ravat-Abdullakhan (XVII-XVIII centuries and the mosque Muhammad Yusuf Bayhoji-Ogly (1909).
