Parish Museum Vittoriosa
This hidden wealth of the city. Anyone who wants to learn about the history of the city, should visit this museum. It is controlled by the historical and cultural society Vittoriosa and is housed in St. Joseph Oratory (itself an interesting historic building). History - from the Great Siege and the Second World War to the present day. In the museum you will see the sword and the hat of the Grand Master Jean Parisot de La Valletta. This sword master fought during the Great Siege of 1565. His ceremonial sword donated by Master Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire of Felipe II, was kidnapped by the Bonapartists and taken to Paris. A photographic exhibition shows how the city suffered from the bombs of the Second World War.
