The Museum of Precambrian Geology

The museum displays expositions in two halls devoted to the main issues of the history of mining and geological research in Karelia (Olonets gubernia), geology, metallogeny and Precambrian minerals of East Fennoscandia; expositions devoted to relief and quaternary deposits of Karelia, the evolution of life on Earth, mineralogy and stromatolites of Karelia and the world, as well as natural stone of architectural purpose, including the mosaic floor and stairs.
