Rathausmuseum
The town hall of Sempach has been home to a contemporary museum since 2014. On four floors, diverse sources report on the political, economic, social and religious life in Sempach from the late Middle Ages to the present. The restored town hall from 1475 itself becomes an important object.
The attic is dedicated to the Battle of Sempach in 1386 and, in addition to the battle event as such, focuses on the eventful culture of remembrance. The history of the national hero Winkelried and the change in commemorations prove to be historical lessons.
