The Museum of Art Nouveau
Riga Art Nouveau Center is one of the newest museums in Riga - opened on April 23, 2009. is located in an apartment where until 1907 the outstanding Latvian architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns (1859-1928) lived and worked.
The museum building at 12 Alberta Street was built in 1903 as a private house for K. Pēkšēns. The project was designed by K. Pēkšēns together with the then architecture student Eižens Laube.
