Robilant+Voena is a partnership between Edmondo di Robilant and Marco Voena. They presented their first exhibition Bologna and Ferrera: Two Centuries of Emilian painting in New York in 1999 and then worked together on many exhibitions and international art fairs. In 2004, they joined forces to open their flagship gallery in Mayfair, London. The gallery deals at the highest level of Italian art from the Gothic to the Post-War period. It has staged significant monographic exhibitions with publications of Old Master artists including Antonio Canal (called Canaletto), Antonio Joli and Gaspar van Wittel (called Vanvitelli). The gallery specializes in the International Caravaggesque Movement and has sold Caravaggesque masterpieces to important museums around the globe. Robilant+Voena also deals in and publishes books on Modern and Post-War Art. Recent critically acclaimed exhibitions focusing on this period have included Lucio Fontana, Giorgio Morandi, Marino Marini, Roberto Matta and Pietro Consagra. Robilant+Voena has also presented works belonging to the Abstract Expressionist and International Pop Art movement, by artists such as Joan Mitchell, John Chamberlain, Andy Warhol, Mimmo Rotella and Mario Schifano. In 2019, Robilant+Voena published the first English publication on Lucio Fontana's ceramics.
