German Christmas Museum
In 1981 in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany has opened shop "Christmas Village", which covers an area five houses . After this Harold Wohlfahrt , son of the founders of this store, began to think about opening a Christmas museum, in order to gather in one place the historical Christmas decorations from different German states and make a permanent exhibition, which would be able to visit people from different countries of the world. In 1991 there was the first instance in the Museum of the Nativity.
