Sammlung Christian Sigrist
The 28 miniature models elaborated in detail by Christian Sigrist (1906-1987) provide insight into past rural everyday life. So we watch Wagner make a wheel and see how the blacksmith then pulls on the iron tires. We imagine the hardships of the winter wooden tours and look forward to the feast after the Hausmetzgete with the participants. The miniatures are testimonials carved in wood, which make the handicraft and agriculture of the first half of the 20th century come alive.
Experts value the collection for its scientific content, children are amazed by the small world and the older generation is lost in memories.
