"ONE AND J. Gallery was founded in September 2005 in Seoul as one of the first galleries to focus primarily on young contemporary Korean artists. The gallery continues to be a leading advocate of Korean contemporary art and culture. In 2017, the gallery opened ONE AND J. +1 a project space for emerging artists and curators. Gallery artists have participated in high profile art exhibitions including those at: Te Uru Waitakere; MMCA National Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art Seoul; Lille 3000; Dallas Museum of Art; Plateau – Samsung Space for Contemporary Art; Atelier Hermes; Wellington City Art Gallery; Dunedin Public Art Gallery; Artsonje; Hite Collection; Ilmin Museum; ARKO Art; the Hermes Misseulsang; Gwangju Biennale; Esslingon Foto and Media Triennial; Adelaide International; Museum of Fine Arts Houston; Spencer Museum of Art; Singapore Biennial; Asia Pacific Triennial; Daegu Photo Biennale; Incheon Women Artist Biennale; the Mori Museum; Echigo-Tsumari Triennial; David Roberts Foundation and Nam June Paik Art Center.
