The Shimanovsk Museum of Local Lore

The museum collection contains items of historical, local history, cultural, museum significance and related to the history of the city, district, region. The most interesting of the 20 collections: "Numismatics", "Bonistics", "Rare Books", "Photos", "Documents". Among the unique exhibits are icons, church books, an Old Believer cross, samovars, paper banknotes, coins (everything is from the 19th - early 20th century), as well as a collection of documents, photographs, letters, and memories of the family of V.I .Shimanovsky.
