Nagashino Castle was a Japanese castle of the Sengoku period, located in present-day Shinshiro, in eastern Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Notably, as the site of the decisive battle for Nagashino between the combined forces of Tokugawa Ieyasu and Oda Nobunaga against Takeda Katsuyori in 1575. This site has been protected by the central government as a National Historic Site since 1929.
