The Shumyachi Museum of Local Lore

The museum exposition includes the following departments: Art department, in which the paintings of the artist Fyodor Savvich Shurpin, born in the village of Kiryakin of the Shumyachsky District, are exhibited; history and ethnography of the area, the exhibition presents archeology items found on the territory of the district, tools, clothing, household items; history of the area during the Great Patriotic War, the exhibition presents documents, photos, flyers, front-line newspapers, weapons, military awards, etc.; department of the modern period.
