Songkhla National Museum
The Songkhla National museum was constructed on Chana Road in Chinese-style back in 1878 to serve as the residence for Songkhla's ruler. The place later becomes the residence of Songkhla's upper administrative officers, the City Hall before converted into the museum for exhibiting southern artifacts in 1953. Today, the museum is the place to study and appreciate local archeology, history, culture and the creation of folk art as well as the remarkable artifacts collection of Na Songkhla Family, an ancient family that used to rule the city.
