The Staritsa Local History Museum

An art gallery is located in the former church of the Sreteniya. It presents works by artists born in Staraya Russa or its surroundings. The basis of the exhibition is the work of the outstanding Russian artist Vasily Semenovich Svarog. It also presents the works of his students, as well as contemporary artists: V.A. Fedorov, N.M. Lokotkov, works of sculptor N.V. Tomsky.
