The Royal Mint
Royal Coin Cabinet - one of the oldest museums in Sweden, where the collection date back to 1570 mi for years. By order of King John III were collected old coins, confirming the right of Swedish three crowns on the state emblem. Three Crowns were engraved on Swedish coins already in the 14th century. The oldest inventory was drawn up in 1630, when the collection was only 57 coins and medals.
