Visavuori museum gets its name from the place name where it is located, namely, in the south of Finland, 45 km. Tampere city, in the town of Valkeakoski. The house-museum was built in 1894 on the banks of the river Vanaya in a beautiful place surrounded by pine trees, by the famous in Europe, Finnish sculptor and architect Emil Vikstrema. The best-known works are considered Vikstrema relief on the front of the House of Estates in Helsinki, which depicts Russian Emperor Alexander I, and the relief on the facade of the railway station, the capital of Finland in the form of twins with severe facial expressions, with illuminating hands.
