Astronomy Museum
The museum presents modern Uzbek astronomy, which studies the Earth, other planets and small bodies of the Solar System, non-stationary stars, star formations, the dynamics of star clusters in our Galaxy and beyond - clusters of other galaxies. Together with the American and German astronomers, Uzbek scientists made a sensational world discovery: the theory of education around young stars of planets was confirmed. Research is being conducted using the largest observatories in the world, including the unique Maydanak national observatory, located 120 kilometers south of Samarkand.
