The Casa de Yrurtia Museum
The Casa de Yrurtia Museum preserves and exhibits the artistic legacies of the sculptor Rogelio Yrurtia and that of the painter Lía Correa Morales, an artist couple of great importance in the early twentieth century in Argentina. The artists donated their house with the furniture and works of art to the National State through a bill promoted by the socialist politician Alfredo Palacios. The House-Museum has been open to the public since July 9, 1949.
