The Coffee Museum
Created in 1996, it addresses the importance of the coffee economy in regional development, its influence on the profile of the population, their ways of life and work. Its mission is to collect, conserve, exhibit, investigate, preserve, research and disseminate the history of coffee, its influence on the socioeconomic and cultural development of Brazil. Its social function is to contribute to the understanding of the society in which it operates, to operate outside the territory of its headquarters, to use the museum as an instrument of intervention and to work with the power of memory, placing it at the service of the public.
