The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas
Labor Museum Verstas Finlayson - a real fount of working life in the Finnish Tampere! Museum has long called not only as "a city within a city", and the museum center has always been considered Finlayson mill, hence the name of the territory. The mill is named for a famous industrialist James Finlayson, who founded here in 1820 a workshop for production of cotton goods. Name Scot immortalized in the name of the museum. It is a kind of tribute to the businessman for the organization of large-scale production in the city, which itself was like a small working town.
