The Folk Museum "A musy ne molchali..." of St. Petersburg secondary school No. 235 named after D. D. Shostakovich is dedicated to the culture and art of Leningrad during the great Patriotic war. Created by teachers and students of the school, the Museum was opened on March 16, 1968. It is known all over the world for its collection of historical documents on the subject: "Art and war" (about 20 thousand originals). It is unique: none of the museums in Saint Petersburg tells so fully and in detail about the spiritual life of the besieged city, about its huge creative potential, which was in demand by the residents during the war, about people of art, about the tragic fate of Leningrad residents.
