The Jining Museum
Jining City Museum is a comprehensive, multi-functional and modern local museum integrating history, art, and humanities. It has been open to citizens for free for many years since October 1, 2008.
The museum is located at No. 38, Guhuai Road, Middle District, Jining City. It was built in May 1985. The building covers an area of 31 acres and consists of two parts. The eastern part is the ancient building complex of Iron Pagoda Temple, which was built in the first year of the Northern Qi Dynasty (560 AD) and was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in 1988; the western part is antique buildings, covering an area of 20460, with a total building area of 11,000 Square meters, of which 8,831 square meters in the main exhibition building, it is a magnificent architectural complex combining ancient and antique buildings.
