The Nevskaya Zastava Museum of local history is located in an old two-story wooden house built in the XIX century. The original house, located at 23 Novo-Alexandrovskaya street, was built to house workers from nearby factories and divided into four two-room apartments. At the moment, the permanent exhibition of the Museum is located in 4 halls and tells about the stages of development of the Neva Outpost and the Nevsky district from the XVIII to XX century. A special place is occupied by the memorial room of V. A. Shelgunov, which is the only one of its kind illustration of the home life of a skilled worker at the end of the XIX century. The Museum also hosts temporary exhibitions of historical and local lore, excursions and Museum programs for both organized groups and individual visitors.
