The Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History of the National University of Trujillo
The Museum of Archeology, Anthropology and History of the National University of Trujillo was founded on April 1, 1939, and Dr. Ignacio Meave Seminary was then Rector. For several decades, the museum occupied various houses until in 1995, the Peruvian State gave the Casa Risco, located on the corner of Junín and Ayacucho streets, formerly the headquarters of the Peruvian Housing Bank, for the exclusive use of the museum.
