The Museum of Contemporary Art «Erarta»

Erarta's museum collection contains 2,800 contemporary works of art (defined as created between 1945 and present time) by more than 300 artists from over 20 regions of Russia. Contemporary paintings, contemporary sculpture and other contemporary art forms such as collage, object, installation, video art and science art are represented in the collection. We aim to show the world that Russia is still home to extremely talented and authentic artists whose work deserves to be admired by the widest possible audience. We don't only focus on Moscow and Saint Petersburg but also discover and showcase artists from all over the country — for instance, the museum's main exhibition project, entitled "Russia in Erarta", showcases contemporary art of Krasnodar, Perm, Novosibirsk, Samara, Stavropol, Rostov-on-Don and many others.
