The Museum of Printing and Design Carlos Cruz-Diez -MEDI- is named after one of the highest representatives of national contemporary art and opened its doors to the public on December 17, 1997, in a building designed by the architect Horacio Corse . It is the first institution in the country dedicated to studying, exhibiting, disseminating, collecting and preserving works belonging to two important disciplines in the cultural and socioeconomic development of a country: stamping and comprehensive design. This space is a showcase to present the works of national and international artists in the area of traditional and experimental printing, as well as designers and their products in their various forms of design.
