The Shokado Garden Art Museum
The Shokado Garden Museum of Art is a site associated with Shokado Shojo (1584-1639), a Buddhist priest from the Ivashimizu Hatimang Shrine.The Shokado Garden has an area of approximately Rs 22,000 and the Sokado Garden of Soana, where Shoho lived after retirement (currently unavailable due to the June 18, 2018 earthquake). The garden also has three rooms: "Sho-in", "Chiku-in" and "Bai-in". In addition to more than 40 species of bamboo and nearly 300 camellia trees, the garden also features plums, cherries, green maple and Japanese maple, creating beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons.
