The State Memorial Museum of Defense and Nazi siege of Leningrad
The Museum of Defense of Leningrad was created during the Great Patriotic War and became one of the first museums in the world dedicated to the history of the Second World War. The exhibition presents documents and personal belongings of defenders and residents of blockaded Leningrad, military uniforms, banners, military equipment, portraits of military commanders and photographs, newspapers and military documents. It also recreated the life of the blockaded city - the reconstruction of the living room, the greasepaint, etc.
