Danish Museum

The Danish Museum, located in Fort Dansborg, has a variety of artifacts related to the colonial period and the settlement of Denmark in India. The museum is managed by Dr. TS Sridhar, Secretary General of the IAS and Commissioner for Archeology. The museum exhibits glassware, porcelain, steatite lamps, decorated terracotta objects, Danish manuscripts, Chinese tea jars and lamps.The museum also has an extensive collection of stones, statuettes, sculptures, swords, daggers, spears, judges, wooden objects and part of a whale skeleton.
