Tuxteco museum - it is a small museum, located in the heart of the city. The museum building is divided into four rooms, which are exhibited archaeological artifacts, wooden busts, statues, vessels and even gilded wooden sculpture. The museum's collection includes exhibits related to the civilization of the people living in the region several thousand years ago, from the Olmec and Totonac, ending late migrants from the Teotihuacan Empire. In the courtyard of the museum, you can see the huge stone heads belonging to the people of the Olmecs. The largest of these animals weigh about twenty tons!
