Wenzhou Museum was originally located on Jiangxin Island, but has since been relocated to Century Square downtown, offering convenient transportation. Wenzhou Museum has two levels. It's worth checking out the three major galleries, history exhibit, arts and crafts exhibit, and nature exhibit. When you first enter the museum lobby, the first thing that you see is a huge dragon boat model. To the left of the entrance is the history exhibit. As could be guessed from the exhibit theme, Wenzhou's history is the history of Wenzhou people's pioneering struggles. Here you could see stone artifacts unearthed locally from the Neolithic Age, records on Wang Xizhi, Xie Lingyun and other representative Wenzhou individuals, restored bowl kiln models, and the stories of Wenzhou merchants exploring the four seas.
