Yalvac Museum
Research in Pisidia Antiokheia, which has been the center of attention for about 150 years of archaeological research, has revealed the need to establish a museum in Yalvaç in the 1900s. The artefacts that emerged during the excavations carried out by the Americans were moved to the high school building in Yalvaç at the end of the excavation season, and a storage was built for the works that continued to come from Yalvac and the surrounding villages, although the excavations were completed in 1947.
The need for the museum, which was revealed by the works exhibited in the Yalvaç Library for a while, resulted in a building suitable for exhibition in Yalvaç and the building, which was started to be built in 1963, has been put into service since 1966.
