The History Museum of The Mari El Republic State Security
The museum has the following exhibition stands: - Formation of the The All-Russian Extraordinary Commission (Cheka) in the Mari El Republic; - The struggle against banditism and sabotage; - Mari Chekists in the rear and on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War; - They died brave. Their names are not forgotten; - The Chekists of the Republic in the postwar period; - Rehabilitation of victims of political repression; - The activities of security agencies at the present stage; - Honorable workers of state security and counterintelligence.
