The Zeugma Mosaic Museum was built on the site of the old tobacco factory and opened on September 9th, 2011. The total area of the Zeugma Mosaic Museum and the Exhibition and Conference Center is 30,000 square-meters and it also has 25,000 square-meters covered area. The complex is composed of three constructions; Block A houses the mosaics brought from Zeugma Ancient City, Block B has floor mosaics of churches belonging to the Eastern Roman period, excavated in Gaziantep and its surroundings, Block C, being the administrative floor, houses conference and foyer areas. The Zeugma Mosaic Museum collection exhibits 3,000 square meters of mosaic, 140 square meters of frescoes, 4 Roman fountains, 20 columns, 4 limestone statues, bronze statue of the god Mars, grave steles, sarcophagi and architectural pieces belonging to the Roman and Eastern Roman periods.
