The museum funds have 11,700 storage units.
The museum displays materials on the combat activities of the 1st Kursk partisan brigade, on the Heroes of the Soviet Union - natives of the Zheleznogorsk (formerly Mikhailovsky) district, on the iron mountaineers - veterans of the Great Patriotic War, on the civilians of nineteen villages and villages of the Mikhailovsky district, destroyed during the years World War II by fascist conquerors.
